Penn State Football Recruiting

Large Group of Top National Recruits to Attend Penn State-Ohio State

Penn State
Penn State gets set to host UCLA for the first time as a Big Ten opponent during the annual Stripe Out.

We’re one day away from the State College and Beaver Stadium being the center of the college football world as No. 3 Penn State hosts No. 4 Ohio State. Considering their relatively easy of the season schedule, a win by Penn State would virtually ensure them a spot in the upcoming College Football Playoffs.

The pressure is on James Franklin to breakthrough with a win against the Buckeyes, and looking at their roster, this looks like it’s the team that can do just that.

If the Nittany Lions are able to do that, it would no doubt make an impression on the hundreds of high school recruits that will be in attendance.

Nittany Sports Now has already told you about three major recruits that are currently committed to other programs, that will be at the game: 2025 4-star TE Andrew Olesh (committed to Michigan), 2025 4-star WR Romero Ison (committed to USC) and 2025 5-star quarterback Matt Zollers (committed to Missouri).

Those three players won’t be the only blue-chip recruits traveling to State College on Saturday. A number of high-level, national recruits will be taking in the atmosphere and evaluating the Penn State program.
