After four straight crazy games— an embarrassing loss to Bucknell at home, an overtime heartbreaker at Maryland, a come-from-behind win over Ohio State and a controversial loss to Georgia Tech in Madison Square Garden, Penn State men’s basketball finally had a relaxed game, beating Les Moyne, 72-55 at the Bryce Jordan Center Thursday night.

Penn State’s (6-6, 1-1 Big Ten) Kanye Clary led all scorers with 20 points, and D’Marco Dunn added 10 off the bench.

Penn State was on from the start, getting out to a 35-14 lead.

The team led 40-28 at the half.

Clary led Penn State with nine points— all of which coming via 3-pointer.

Le Moyne (5-8) hung in there in the second half, trailing by 13 with less than eight minutes left and, with 7:17 left, trailed by just 10. But Penn State continued to hold steady, leading by 11 at the last media timeout.

Penn State’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 29, against Rider at the Bryce Jordan Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2.
