Penn State wrestling is now three wins away from history.
With a 36-6 pounding of Lehigh, Penn State has now won 74 consecutive dual meets.
Two more, and it will tie Oklahoma State’s Division One record of 76.
Three more, and it will tie overall NCAA record, held by Division II St. Cloud State.
Penn State took eight of 10 bouts against Lehigh, with four of them being of the bonus point variety. It should also be noted that one of the two bouts Penn State dropped came at 141 pounds, where starter Aaron Nagao didn’t compete due to injury. Cael Nasdeo wrestled for Nagao and fell to Lehigh’s Carter Bailey, 5-1.
