A former Penn State star is reportedly reuniting with Micah Parsons in Big D.

Per a report by ESPNโ€™s Jeremy Fowler, Miles Sanders plans on signing with the Cowboys.

This means that Penn State fans who are also Philadelphia Eagles fansโ€” of which there are plentyโ€” will have to root against a guy they used to root for.

At least, they will when the Eagles and Cowboys play each other. Sanders, of course, spent his first four NFL seasons in Philadelphia and did quite well.

He never rushed for less than 754 yards and never averaged less than 4.6 yards per carry. Sandersโ€™ last season in Philly was his best. Playing all 17 games, Sanders rushed for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging just a shade under five yards per carry.

His performance helped the Eagles to the postseason, where Sanders continued to shine.

He gained 90 yards on 17 carries in the teamโ€™s divisional playoff win over the rival Giants, then scored two touchdowns in the NFC Championship game against San Francisco.

Unfortunately for Sanders and the Eagles, the Super Bowl didnโ€™t quite go as well. Sanders only picked up 16 yards on seven carries, and the Eagles lost to the Chiefs.

But Sandersโ€™ season was good enough to earn him a four-year, $25.4 million deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Sandersโ€™ time in Carolina didnโ€™t amount to much production-wise. Over two seasons in 27 games, Sanders totaled just 637 yards and three touchdowns. With Chuba Hubbard being Carolinaโ€™s bell cow and the Panthers not being able to run the ball much due to consistently being behind (the team went 7-27 over Sandersโ€™ two seasons), there wasnโ€™t much room for Sanders to make noise. So it came as no surprise ย to most when Carolina released Sanders earlier this week.

Now, heโ€™ll have a fresh start in Dallas.
