Penn State will play one neutral-site game during the 2026-27 regular season when the Nittany Lions face Army West Point on Dec. 10 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The arena, home of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s New Jersey Sirens, will host the matchup between the two longtime programs.
The game will mark Penn State’s 18th regular-season neutral-site contest since elevating to NCAA Division I in 2012. The Nittany Lions own an 8-7-2 record in their previous 17 regular-season neutral-site games.
Penn State has also enjoyed success in the all-time series against Army, posting a 5-1 record. The Black Knights’ lone victory came in 1982, when they earned a 10-3 win over the Nittany Lions.

Their most recent neutral-site appearances came during the 2024-25 season, when they defeated Army 4-1 at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., before skating to a 3-3 tie against Notre Dame at Wrigley Field as part of the Frozen Confines series.
Penn State will look to continue its strong history in neutral-site games when it returns to that stage this December.
