In recruiting news, Bill Belichick is trying to poach two Penn State verbal commits.
A significant position of need for PSU the past two seasons and into the future, wide receiver, is a spot James Franklin’s staff remains committed to fixing.
On Tuesday, North Carolina offered four-star Jahsiear Rogers and three-star Lavar Keys. Both are coveted recruits in the Class of 2026.
Rogers committed to Penn State July 27, 2024 and remains active on Twitter supporting fellow members of the PSU community.

Rogers attends Appoquinimink High School in Delaware and is scheduled to visit PSU May 30 to June 1. Like Rodgers, Keys will make an official visit on the same dates.
Rivals ranks Penn State with the 4th-best recruiting class in 2026, led by Fort Cherry safety Matt Seig (four-star, 90 rating). 247Sports regards Rogers as a three-star recruit, but a four-star prospect in its 247Sports Composite. He unofficially visited PSU in July at the time of his commitment.
Keys is the No. 126 receiver in the class and both he and Rogers are being recruited by WR coach Marques Hagans.
Penn State reconfigured its wide receiver room after Harrison Wallace and Omari Evans entered the transfer portal. Transfers Kyron Hudson (USC) and Devonte Ross (Troy) join the mix with senior Liam Clifford, redshirt-freshman Tyseer Denmark, and incoming freshman Matthew Outten and Lyrick Samuel.
