One of the greatest to ever do it for Penn State wrestling is going to be a dad.
Maddie Nolf, the wife of Jason Nolf, announced via Instagram that the couple is expecting a child.
“PRAISE THE LORD OH MY SOUL!” she wrote.
She then quoted James 1:17.
“And we KNOW Every good gift and every perfect gift from above, coming down from the Father of lights.”
“Words cannot express the gratitude in our hearts! Such a wonderful crazy time in our life! There is NO OTHER NAME under Heaven that deserves the Praise but KING JESUS! No one can do what HE does!”
Late last month, Nolf, a three-time national champion for Penn State wrestling and four-time finalist who wrestled at PSU from 2016-19, announced his retirement from the sport.
The news was first reported by insider Justin Basch of the Baschamania Podcast and confirmed by Nolf not long after.
“I’m officially retiring from wrestling,” Nolf posted to X (formerly Twitter.) “Thank you all for your support over the years. I hope you have enjoyed 🙌🏼

“I’ve been wrestling for 22 years,” Nolf, 28, said. “Wrestling has been a big part of my life, and something that I’ve spent a lot of my time doing. But I’m a child of God first and a wrestler second.”
Maddie Nolf, (maiden name Elliston), played soccer at Penn State and started all six matches for the United States U-20 Women’s National Team at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2016. Today, she’s a defender for Rangers in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
