It’s no secret that Penn State football is aggressively looking to upgrade the talent at their wide receiver position.
Over the last two weeks, Penn State has hosted 4-star talents such as Taz Williams Jr., Koby Howard, Samari Reed and Naeshaun Montgomery.
None of those players left State College giving a verbal commitment to Penn State. Although, that does not mean that they won’t do so in the future.
Another 4-star wide out that’s already made his official visit to Penn State has listed them as one of his finalists.

2025 4-star Jeff Exinor announced on Sunday that he plans on making his college commitment soon and it looks as though that date will be June 28th.
The good news for Penn State is that they have a shot.
Exinor tells Nittany Sports Now that his three finalists are (in no order): Penn State, Virgina Tech and Maryland. Along with these 3 programs, Exinor holds Power Four offers from Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Pitt, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The 6’2″, 220-pound Exinor is from McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland and is a national Top 200 recruit. James Franklin and Marques Hagans have done a tremendous job recruiting this talented player and they could be battling former Penn State assistant coach Brent Pry for his services.
Penn State just landed a commitment from Maryland native 4-star defensive end Cortez Harris and are working to add a second player from Maryland in Exinor.
The Nittany Lions holds 17 commitments in their Class of 2025, which currently holds a Team Ranking of No. 7 by Rivals.com. Of those 17 recruits, one is a wide receiver, Lyrick Samuel.
Over the weekend it was a very newsworthy time for Penn State football as two players de-committed and 3 new players committed, including 4-star running back Jabree Coleman-Wallace.
