Koby Howard may have just given Penn State fans an idea of when he’ll be back.

The caption said “me and God back soon” and had a picture from the Star Wars series, à la Abdul Carter.
Also written in the post was a date: 10/17.
Penn State plays at Michigan Oct. 17. So it seems clear that this is when Howard expects to return. Now, this would confirm that
Howard would be out for Penn State’s showdown with USC the week before. But if Howard is to miss three games after being ruled out “for an extended period of time,” that’s just about the best-case scenario Penn State could have hoped for.
Howard has gone off for 100+ yards in two of Penn State’s first three games, the first time since 2021 that a wideout has had multiple 100-yard games in a season.
He’s fourth in the Big Ten in receiving yards per game (114.7), leads the Big Ten and is third in the country in yards per catch (28.67).
So, yeah, he’s a guy Penn State wants out there, and life without him on the field won’t be easy, especially given the schedule.
Penn State’s next three games are against Wisconsin, at Northwestern and back at home against USC, all teams that could give Penn
State trouble. Whenever Howard does get back, Penn State will be happy to have him.
