Matt Campbell and his staff are looking to prioritize the Keystone State as Penn State continues to build relationships and make connections on the recruiting trail.
The Nittany Lions have now expressed interest in the current leading rusher in the WPIAL (Pennsylvania District 7), offering Highlands (Natrona Heights, Pa.) running back Tevin Owen-Cratsenberg.
Owen-Cratsenberg took to his X (Twitter) account to announce the news.
“After a amazing talk with Coach (Savon) Huggins I’m blessed to receive an offer from Penn State!”
Owen-Cratsenberg is coming off a monster performance against Knoch (Saxonburg, Pa.) in the Golden Rams’ Class 3A conference opener. He scored all four Highlands touchdowns while rushing for 303 yards on 35 carries.
That performance was hardly an outlier.

He has piled up 1,041 yards on 111 carries, averaging an impressive 9.4 yards per attempt and earning the nickname “Run TOC.”
Penn State is getting an early start on its 2028 recruiting class.
The Nittany Lions currently have three commitments in the class: Hopewell (Hopewell, Pa.) quarterback James Armstrong, McDowell (Erie, Pa.) cornerback Deonte Fleming Jr. and St. Joseph School (Buffalo, N.Y.) kicker Carter Petri.
Owen-Cratsenberg now becomes another Pennsylvania prospect to watch as Campbell and his staff continue to establish their recruiting footprint across the state.
