There’s been some changes to our Penn State wrestling lineup projections.
With FloWrestling releasing its 2026-27 preseason rankings, it’s apparent that there will be some changes.
Here is where things stand assuming those changes come to light.
Note: If there’s no change in a weight class projection, there probably won’t be a blurb written under the wrestler’s name. Longer explanations for such wrestlers can be found in our earlier projections.
125: Luke Lilledahl
133: Marcus Blaze
141: Masanosuke Ono
149: Shayne Van Ness
157: Tyler Kasak
PJ Duke is projected at 165 now, and Mitchell Mesenbrink is projected at 174. That makes Kasak the projected guy at 157, where FloWrestling has him at No. 2 in the country in its preseason rankings.

If all goes according to plan, there will be plenty of glory to come.
174: Mitchell Mesenbrink
If Mesenbrink and Duke are indeed moving up, Penn State has a chance to have the deadliest 157-174 trio in program history, with Tyler Kasak starting at 157.
Kasak, who redshirted last season, already has two third-place national finishes under his belt and is ranked No. 2 in his class, behind only defending national champ Landon Robideau.
Yeah, things are looking good for Penn State wrestling.
