Updated (10:45 a.m.) —
Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson, the top player remaining in the transfer portal, has committed to Kansas for his final season. The 7-foot-1 center appeared in 94 games (89 starts) across his three-year Michigan career and averaged 17.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
He received many accolades while at Michigan including multiple all-conference team nods, a Big Ten Freshman of the Year award in 2021, and a consensus all-American nod that same year.
There was some speculation that he’d choose Maryland with even his Wikipedia page being updated to say he played at Maryland prior to his choice of Kansas. Outside of Maryland, Dickinson choose Kansas over the likes of Kentucky, Georgetown and Villanova.
