Kennedy Urlacher, a Class of 2024 three-star safety out of Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona, announced that he will announce his commitment decision on Monday at 6 p.m., and Penn State has made six final six.

Penn State is in the running with Illinois, Kansas State, Miami, Notre Dame, and TCU for Urlacher (6-foot-0, 190 pounds) is the No. 13 player in Arizona, the No. 56 safety, and the No. 612 player nationally, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Kennedyโ€™s father is former Chicago Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher.

Urlacher, like his father plays with physicality, has tenacity, and can make big plays in the secondary, and a quintessential leader.

All the major recruiting sites expect Urlacher to commit to Notre Dame on Monday, however, he still plans on visiting Penn State at some point, so a flip in the future is not out of the question.

Penn State would have Kenneth Woseley, Jon Mitchell, Antoine Belgrave-Shorter, and Urlacher in its defensive back room in the 2024 recruiting class with his commitment to the school.
