With San Fran at Chicago’s 16, Deebo Samuel ran for four yards and then fumbled. Brisker recovered it at the Chicago 12.
Brisker got the start in his first NFL game, months after the Bears took him in the second-round of this spring’s draft.
He played at Penn State from 2019-21, reaching All-America status last year. Before Penn State, Brisker started his college career at Lackawanna Community College, playing there from 2017-18.
The Bears and 49ers are still scoreless in the first quarter.
