Penn State 2022 4-Star RB Commit Kaytron Allen Starts Off 2021 Season In Big Way

Penn State currently has the No. 2 ranked recruiting class in 2022, which is filled with thirteen 4-star recruits and one 5-star recruit.

One of the Nittany Lions 24 currently commitments opened up his season last weekend and got showed why he’s so highly ranked.

Kaytron Allen (5’11”, 215) is a native of Norfolk, Virginia but currently plays for the highly talented IMG Academy team in Bradenton, Florida. The 4-star running back. who committed to Penn State on July 16, is ranked by Rivals as No. 12 running back and the No. 150 overall player in the Class of 2022.

James Franklin has to be excited about the future of Allen after seeing how he opened his senior season.

Allen and IMG Academy took on American Heritage High School and beat them by the score of 35-15. In that game, Allen rushed for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns.

247 Sports national recruiting analyst Cooper Petagna saw Allen’s performance and had this to say, “Allen runs with an imposing style. He showed the whole package in this one, tough between the tackles while also being a big play waiting to happen breaking off several big gains.”

Penn State’s Class of 2022 also includes 4-star running back Nicholas Singleton (6’0″, 210) from Reading, Pennsylvania. 247 Sports rates Singleton has the No. 1 running back prospect and the No. 26 overall player in the Class of 2022.
