Oregon Social Media Team Rubs Salt in The Penn State Wound

Two days after Oregon’s thrilling 30-24 double-overtime win over Penn State at Beaver Stadium, the Oregon social media team decided to have a little fun.

In a postgame Twitter reel detailing how Oregon handled a hostile road environment, the background music was a piano rendition of “Mo Bamba” by Sheck Wes.

That song has become synonyms with Penn State football— perhaps even on the same level of Zombie Nation— ever since it forced Michigan to take a timeout on the first play of the 2019 White Out.

“Mo Bamba” was bumping once again Saturday night for this year’s White Out, but Oregon wasn’t bothered, at least not enough to lose the game.

Coach Dan Lanning’s team certainly had its fun in the aftermath of the win, with several Oregon players taunting Penn State’s student section immediately after and Lanning himself taking a dig at “Mo Bamba” on his Instagram account.

All No. 7 Penn State can do now is focus UCLA, which it takes on Saturday at 3:30 ET from the Rose Bowl on CBS.
