247Sports has updated its recruiting rankings, and Penn State commit David Tarawallie blew up.
Big time.
When 247 last issued its rankings, which, appropriately, consist of two hundred and forty seven players, Tarawallie wasn’t among them.
Now, he’s No. 67, which puts him firmly in the four-star ranks, and with the top 32 players earning five-star status, that might not be out of the question more than two months out from Tarawallie’s senior season.
Tarawallie wasn’t the only Penn State commit whose stock went up.
Aiden Gibson, a four-star RB from South Carolina’s Woodruff High School, had been a fringe top 247 player at No. 229.
Now, he’s a fringe top 100 player at No. 103.
Jamir Dean, a receiver from Tennessee’s Alcoa High School, had been a three-star when he committed to PSU early last month.
Now, he’s a four-star, and made his top 247 debut at No. 126.
Cooper Terwilliger, a four-star tight end from Pierre, South Dakota, is now approaching the top 200, moving from No. 241 to No. 206.
Not every Penn State commit moved up.
Stanley Montgomery, a four-star from Philadelphia, fell from No. 65 to No. 70.
Kel’Shajuan Telfair, a four-star CB from Euclid, Ohio, moved from No. 115 to No. 117, and Landon Blum, a four-star receiver from Iowa’s Woodbine High School, fell from No. 216 to N0. 222.
