Huan is the No. 92 prospect in the country and the No. 10 center in the 247Sports database. He has appeared in four games this year for Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Maryland. Huan is averaging 13 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks on the year.
In his most recent game against Archbishop Wood, Huan scored a career-high 26 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots in an 88-79 win.
In only his second year, Rhoades has made strides in recruiting. Most recently, he signed the highest-rated class in Penn State history, featuring the best recruit to ever join the Nittany Lions, Kayden Mingo.

Mingo was joined by fellow four-star Mason Blackwood and three-star 7-footer Justin Houser.
Before the 2024-25 season, Rhoades signed Miles Goodman, another top-100 recruit and the third-highest overall signee in the program’s history. Goodman has been sidelined with injury this year and is yet to make his debut. In a press conference on Monday, though, Rhoades said “Miles will be here soon.”
So far this season, Yanic Konan Niederhauser has been the lone “big” able to play, but Rhoades isn’t going to recruit size just for the sake of it.
“You want Big Ten size, but itโs got to fit how we play. We want big guys that allow us to play against anybody,” Rhoades told media members in November.
Penn State is 8-1 (1-0) this year, its best start in a decade. The Nittany Lions’ next game is against Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
