One of the top wide receivers in the Class of 2026 has listed Penn State football as one of his finalists.
2026 4-star wide out Dequane Prevo from Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas announced that he’s narrowed down his list of offers to four schools: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Penn State and Texas.

Prevo has set from commitment date for Nov. 24.
Prevo (5’11”, 165) is rated by Rivals.com as one of the Top 200 overall juniors and one of the Top 15 wide receivers in the country. Aside from his four finalists, Prevo also received offers from schools such as Auburn, Baylor, Central Florida, Florida, Florida State, Houston, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and USC.

This summer, Prevo was reportedly set to announce his commitment July 30 but decided to delay that decision. At the time, his five finalists were Arkansas, Baylor, Penn State, Texas A&M and USC. If you go by this list and his current final four schools, the two programs that Prevo has consistently been interested in are Arkansas and Penn State. That doesn’t mean he’ll be selecting one of those two schools, just that he’s maintained interest.
Prevo received his offer from Penn State back in June 2023, when he made an unofficial visit to State College. Prevo received the offer personally from head coach James Franklin.
The need for Penn State to add quality, play-making wide receivers to its roster is well-known and Prevo could help fill that need.
Despite it being early, Penn State football currently has received seven commitments for its Class of 2026, two of those players being wide receivers (3-star Jahsiear Rogers from Middletown, Delaware and 3-star Lavar Keys from Hyattsville, Maryland).
