The T-shirts are sold exclusively through Penn State team members on “Win Shirt,”— an NIL driven site that comes out with new shirts every week— and feature Powers’ catch phrase “Think fast run fast,” that he uttered repeatedly during his 40-yard dash.
Powers is a fictional character portrayed by New York Giants legend Eli Manning. Powers showed up to Penn State’s run-on tryouts last month, and, among other things, ran a 5.49 40-yard dash.
Since the video surfaced earlier this week, “Powers” has become a viral sensation, and Manning even talked about the skit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Manning’s visit to Penn State is detailed on the ESPN+ series “Eli’s Places.” Manning’s visit to Penn State also featured him telling punter Barney Amor that he was getting a scholarship.
But Powers is what Manning’s visit to Penn State will be remembered for.
Pat McAfee, among countless others, is a big fan.

”You could tell it was Eli when he was throwing,” McAfee, who punted for the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-16 before becoming a media superstar, said on Wednesday’s Pat McAfee Show, “but everything else, especially with the way he was acting and talking… I don’t blame anybody on campus for not knowing (it was Eli Manning).
“What a great job by all parties involved there.”
Penn State fans also have the chance to personally win a Chad Powers T-shirt Saturday, Sept. 24. All they have to do is run the 40 in fewer than 5.49 seconds.
The “Are you faster than Chad Powers?” contest will be held Saturday morning from 10-11 at Penn State’s baseball stadium, Medlar Field, before the football team kicks off against Central Michigan at noon.
Proceeds from these shirts benefit Penn State football run-ons.
