An unfortunate turn of events for former Penn State star and current Denver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler.
This afternoon in his teams game against the NY Jets, Hamler appeared to have suffered a serious injury to his left knee. In an attempt to go up and catch a pass from Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Hamler landed down on his knee and the replay did not look good. Hamler immediately went to the Broncos locker room as he was not able to put any weight on that leg.
Geez. Here's the Hamler replay. Left leg/knee. Planted awkwardly on it.
Sutton out all of last year. Jeudy's already out this year. Broncos WRs have been cursed with injuries these last two years. #BroncosCountry pic.twitter.com/VhrazmDo5w

With Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy out with an injury to his ankle, Hamler was looking to establish himself in the Denver offense. Last year in his rookie season, Hamler caught 30 passes for 381 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Through two games this season, the speedy Hamler caught 4 passes for 46 yards.
