Two former Penn State wrestling stars and one current one will be competing in Cleveland Saturday night at RAF12, and NSN will be there for all of it.
Here’s a breakdown of the three matchups.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: BO NICKAL VS. MAX MCENELLY
The first Penn State related bout of the night is quite compelling. Nickal, who won two of his three national titles for Penn State at the 184-pound class, is going against the reining 184-pound champ in Minnesota’s McEnelly. Nickal is 1-0 in RAF with a win over Jacob Cardenas at RAF 1 in Cleveland last August.
This will be McEnelly’s RAF debut.
MIDDLEWEIGHT: JASON NOLF VS. EVAN WICK
Nolf, who also won three national titles for Penn State, is looking to avenge his only RAF loss.

BANTAMWEIGHT: Masanosuke Ono vs. Ben Davino
Ono hasn’t wrestled his first match for Penn State yet, but as a Senior World Champion, is already kinda well-known. Davino was a national runner-up at 133 last season for Ohio State, so he’s kinda well-known, too. It’s possible that the two will meet again during the college season, but that would depend on whether they’re in the same weight class (Ono will compete at either 133 or 141, as will Davino).
In any case, fans will enjoy watching these two go at it in Cleveland.
RAF 12 is scheduled to begin at 8 on Fox Nation.
