Noteook (12-17): No chance PSU plays at Pitt in 2025

Welcome to our daily Nittany Notebook. This post will be updated frequently throughout the day with news, notes and sometimes entertaining info. So be sure to check back often to stay on top of everything that’s going on with Penn State football and athletics, plus other sports of interest in central PA.

Update: 10:10 a.m.

**When is a picture worth 1,000 words? When Pitt’s coach suggests that Penn State visit Pittsburgh in 2025 and a fan notices something funny (see tweet below).

In all reality, there’s NO chance PSU would trade a home game against Virginia Tech that was canceled for a road trip to Pitt — or anywhere else, for that matter. But especially to Pitt.

This is the Lions’ schedule for 2025, and as you can see, they already have five road games scheduled. The school cannot and will not schedule another road game to replace the home game against the Hokies. Home games are simply worth way, way too much money.

Now, if Pitt wants to come to Beaver Stadium …

Anyway, here’s a fantastic comment a fan made on Twitter.

Update: 9:45 a.m.

**This is really cool. Check out the ecstatic reactions of some of the Penn State women’s basketball players as they check out their new locker room.
