Michigan’s disastrous 1-3 start has brought intense scrutiny upon Jim Harbaugh, but he’s not the only member of the Wolverine coaching staff drawing heavy criticism.
Offensive coordinator Josh Gattis has been getting ripped by Michigan fans and some media for the team’s poor play.
Gattis was Penn State’s receivers coach from 2014-17 and did very well in that role. He then spent one season at Alabama.
The Wolverines got humiliated at home Saturday against Wisconsin, 49-11, in one of the program’s worst performances ever at The Big House.
Gattis’ offense was awful in the game, with only 10 first downs and 219 total yards.
Penn State plays Michigan in two weeks in a matchup between the nation’s two most disappointing teams this season.
Following is a sample of some of the criticism Gattis has received:
Jim Harbaugh, Josh Gattis and Don Brown can all turn in a resignation letter after this one or they can get fired at years end but they need to GTFO

Tough turn of events for Josh Gattis. Rolled to Michigan at the last second, tried to take credit from Locksley for Bama's offensive success, now almost surely out of a job after two seasons.

Josh Gattis left a job that Alabama that may have lead to him becoming the Offensive Coordinator. For this.

It's amazing Don Brown still has a job. AMAZING! Josh Gattis was also a bad hire. He looks like a dad trying to call plays in a pop warner league but he's running a system his kids can't do. Coach. The. Team. You. Have. https://t.co/kClHEaU5Ul

Josh Gattis doesn't get enough hate. He has been absolutely horrible as OC. Horrible hire by Harbaugh. He put all his eggs in 1 basket by bringing in a first time play caller and keeping Don Brown. He failed Horribly. Time to fire everybody 🙃🙃🙃🙃 including Warde Manuel😬
