The kickoff time for Penn State football’s Nov. 14 game against Minnesota has been narrowed down.
It will be a night game, and the only question is if it will kickoff at 7 or 7:30.
This will be Penn State’s third night game of the season and second at Beaver Stadium.
The first one took place at Northwestern Oct. 2 in the first game at New Ryan Field. Penn State lost, 34-13. Eight days later, Penn State took on USC in the annual White Out game. Despite drawing the biggest crowd in Beaver Stadium history, Penn State fell, 31-23. Penn State will be hoping for a better result against Minnesota.
The vibes going into that game will depend on what happens this Saturday at Washington.
As of Penn State is a slight underdog on the road taking on a UW team that, like Penn State, hasn’t had this season go according to plan thus far. Penn State started the season ranked No. 18, with Washington just ahead at No. 17. Penn State lost its first four Big Ten games before pounding Purdue 31-17 to get back to .500 over the weekend. Washington is 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Big Ten, with each win coming in Washington’s last two games on the road against Purdue and Nebraska, each game being under the lights.
Minnesota’s last trip to Happy Valley was also a night game, taking place in 2022.
PSU won that game, 45-17, in that year’s White Out game. This meeting won’t be the White Out, but should still present for a great atmosphere, especially if Penn State comes in at 5-4 instead of 4-5.
