The Penn State women’s basketball team added to their 2026-2027 roster today by bringing back 5′-8″ guard Vitoria Santana.
Santana, who will be a fifth-year graduate student this year in Happy Valley, has spent the past two seasons in State College.
Her first two collegiate years were at Eastern Arizona (2022-2024).
Last year for the Lady Lions, Santana saw action in 28 games and started in one, totaling 66 points, 39 rebounds, 25 assists and 14 steals.
The familiarity of Penn State to Santana should be a boost for the Lady Lions, however, Santana is the lone returning Lady Lion from last year’s team.
The Sao Paulo, Brazil native marks the eleventh player on this year’s roster.
The Lady Lions will get a tune-up with UPJ in an exhibition game on Tuesday, October 27 inside the BJC and then open their regular season against the Cleveland State Vikings at home on Monday, November 2.
