Penn State Football offered 4-star linebacker Noah Glover, a 6-foot-2, 205 pound prospect in the class of 2027, in April 2025. After the coaching staff turnover of the past three months, the Nittany Lions made sure to reaffirm their interest, as Glover announced a re-offer from Penn State on Wednesday, Jan. 7. He currently ranks as the No. 295 player on the ESPN 300 for his class.
Glover tagged linebackers coach Tyson Veidt, who Penn State poached away from his previous position as defensive coordinator at Cincinnati, in his offer post. A middle linebacker by trade, Glover racked up 73 tackles, five sacks, two pass breakups, two blocked punts and a forced fumble across nine games played in his junior season, doing a little bit of everything. Middle linebackers typically serve as the quarterback of their defense, and Glover’s versatility bodes well for that task.
Glover also holds offers from North Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, Kentucky, Miami, Ohio State, and Oregon, among others, so Penn State will need to hit the recruiting trail hard in order to bring him to Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions lost the entirety of their 2027 recruiting class after James Franklin’s firing, so maintaining ties with prospects like Glover marks an important step in securing a stable future for the program.
