Penn State and LB coach Dan Connor has landed yet another blue-chip.
More than a month after Terry Wiggins and Mathieu Lamah committed to PSU, Elijah Littlejohn has done the same.
Littlejohn, a four-star from West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, had been offered by PSU in April.
He picked PSU over Georgia Tech, NC State and Virginia Tech and also had offers from schools such as Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Littlejohn had an official visit to NC State scheduled for the weekend of June 20 but that visit is presumably off the table.
LITTLEJOHN ON PENN STATE
Littlejohn took his PSU official visit the weekend of June 6-8, and as he told Chad Simmons of On3Sports, that’s where the connection blossomed.
“The coaches treated me and my family so well, and I liked the atmosphere a lot,” Littlejohn told Simmons. “Then on the official visit, I knew Penn State was home.”
Of course, Littlejohn wants to go to the NFL, and PSU has done a pretty good job of putting guys there.
It is “Linebacker U,” after all.
“Penn State is always putting guys into the league,” Littlejohn said. “They have great coaches. Coach (Dan) Connor played there, he played in the NFL and he will develop me. Penn State has the best defensive coordinator (Jim Knowles) in college football, so the defense will be great.”
WHERE THE CLASS STANDS
PSU now has 20 players committed to its 2026 Class. Littlejohn is the third linebacker, joining Wiggins and Lamah.
