PHILADELPHIA– This really might end up being the best Penn State wrestling team ever.
Everybody knew Cael Sanderson’s empire would dominate on the first day and night of this year’s championships.
But for all 10 wrestlers to combine for 20 wins?
Sheesh.
But at Penn State, the impossible is ordinary. So having all 10 wrestlers reach the quarterfinals really doesn’t feel like much of a suprise.
But that doesn’t mean the feat isn’t as impressive as you-know-what.
Furthermore, aside from Braeden Davis in the team’s first match of the day, nobody got a takedown against Penn State.
Yep, it’s kind of scary.
