Talented junior safety Kaden Gebhardt has been a busy man this month of October but that’s not much of a surprise.
Gebhardt is a 4-star recruit from Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio and also close to 20 D-1 offers.
Gebhardt has made recent GameDay visits to Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin and his next stop will be to State College to take the matchup between No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Ohio State. In fact, Gebhardt will make a return visit to Penn State next weekend for their matchup against Washington.

This wasn’t his first visit this year to Penn State as back in July, Gebhardt was one of many high school recruits that made the trip for the annul Lasch Bash.
At this stage of his recruitment, the 6’1″, 195-pound defensive back has an offer list that includes Penn State, Akron, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Pitt, Purdue, Toledo, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Gebhardt has traveled the country and visited various this season, but nothing will compare to what he’ll be seeing on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.
“I’m very excited and ready to experience the atmosphere (for the Penn State/Ohio State game),” Gebhardt tells Nittany Sports Now.
“Penn State is really high on my list and I talk with Penn State coaching staff almost every day. What impresses me about Penn State is the way that they produce guys on the defensive side of the ball and get them to the NFL. Plus, Penn State being Linebacker U also really stands out.”
Although most of the focus is on the current Class of 2025 with National Letter of Intent Day a little over a month away, Penn State has already secured a number of highly regarded players for the Class of 2026.
Currently, the Nittany Lions has already received six commitments for their Class of 2026: 4-star running back Messiah Mickens, 4-star quarterback Troy Huhn, 4-star OL Kevin Brown, 3-star wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers, 3-star wide receiver Lavar Keys and 3-star defensive end Daniel Jennings.
