Robby Martin (6-foot-5, 285 lbs), 2024’s No. 1 player in West Virginia according to three different outlets, has set his commitment date for July 31 at 3:30. Martin’s deciding between Maryland, NC State, Penn State and West Virginia.

Martin plays football in Huntington, W.V., where he’s also won a state title in wrestling. He lists himself as a four-star recruit on Twitter but is listed as a three-star by every major recruiting outlet.

But ESPN, On3 and 247Sports all rank him as the top player in West Virginia for 2024. Rivals doesn’t rank West Virginia recruits. His national interior line ranking varies from No. 20 (Rivals) to No. 40 (On3).

In an interview with WVSN, Martin described himself as big, versatile and physical. He said he’s always been a West Virginia fan growing up and wants a family atmosphere at his future program.

He’s only taken two official visits to West Virginia (June 9) and NC State (June 16). According to Rivals, he is taking another unofficial visit to West Virginia this weekend.
