Penn State’s second loss of the season was much easier to watch than its first.
At Michigan Oct. 15, Penn State got embarrassed in a 41-17 rout.
Against Ohio State at home two weeks later, Penn State lost 44-31, but competed for most of the game and even had a lead in the fourth quarter.
But for defensive back Joey Porter Jr., the feeling was the same in State College as it was in Ann Arbor.
“I would say the vibes are kind of the same,” Porter told reporters after the game. “I mean, a loss is a loss. So we just have to take that in and get better tomorrow, and that’s what we want to do. There’s really nothing much to it.”
