Link is a 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle who plays for Gonzaga High School in Washington, DC. He has had offers from schools such as Boston College, Connecticut, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Miami, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, Stanford, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin.
Link is the number three recruit in the District of Columbia, the No. 27 offensive lineman in the country, and the No. 290 overall recruit in the Class of 2023. On3.com has his NIL value at $8,700.
Link made his official visit to Penn State on June 10, and also attended a game last fall.
Scouts see Link as one of the most technically sound offensive tackles in his class. Link uses his length (33.75-inch arms) and good hand placement, which allows him to get leverage on pass-rushers. He always plays with good body control and positioning, and has the athleticism to make it to the second level in the running game. He also has the footwork to play left tackle at the college level because he competed against elite competition at the high school level.
If Penn State were to get a commitment from Link, he will potentially form a bookend tackle duo with Jven Williams for the Class of 2023.
