247sports’ “crystal ball” predictions have three Class of 2023 four-star athletes committing to Penn State very soon. Linebackers Tony Rojas from Fairfax High school in Fairfax, Virginia, Ta’Mere Robinson out of Brashear High School and running back Treyaun Webb from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, are leaning heavily toward Penn State.

All three players will fill positions of need in their 2023 recruiting class and boost their national recruiting rankings. Penn State is seventh nationally and second behind only Ohio State in the Big Ten conference.

Rojas is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker that was dominant on both sides of the ball for Fairfax. He was a running back, wide receiver and outside linebacker for Fairfax. He is projects as an outside linebacker at the college level and with his position versatility he can contribute on special teams.

Robinson is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound athlete that has played everywhere on Brashear’s defense. He has played all three linebacker positions, on the edge, safety, and even slot corner. Robinson also projects as a linebacker at the next level, however, he would like to have a bounce-back season after he tore his ACL and MCL in October.

At the time of his injury, he was the No. 59 player in the nation, according to Rivals.com.

Webb is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound ball-carrier that is a patient runner that can shed tackles and has an effective stiff arm. Webb also has the speed to break away from defenders in the open field, and he has room to gain 10-15 pounds without sacrificing his speed and explosiveness. In his junior season he rushed for 1,192 yards and 11 touchdowns to help lead Trinity Christian to the Florida 3A state championship.

If Penn State winds up with all three players, they would be the first players at their respective positions in the Class of 2023 recruiting class.
