Yazeed Haynes, a four-star receiver from North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, has “decided to stay home” and commit ย to Penn State.

He’s Penn State’s 13th commitment from the Class of 2023 and the second receiver, joining Ejani Shakir, a four-star who committed last month.
Haynes (6-foot-2, 175 pounds) previous had been committed to Rutgers but de-committed in late May.
Penn State offered Haynes June 4, the same weekend he attended the school’s Whiteout camp, and he went on his official visit this past weekend. Now, he plans to be a Nittany Lion and play for coach James Franklin.
Haynes is a four-star according to Rivals.com and a three-star according to both 247Sports’ site and composite rankings.
Assuming he signs with Penn State, Haynes won’t have to travel terribly far to continue his football career. Lansdale is roughly three hours away from State College.
