Notebook (1-1): Four recruits put PSU on short lists

Update: 6:45 p.m.

**Two more recruits listed Penn State in their top 10, bringing the day’s total to four prospects who have PSU on their short lists.

Mykel Williams, a 4-star defensive tackle from Columbus, Ga., listed PSU in his top 10. He’s 6-5, 255 pounds.

Tyler Booker, a 4-star defensive tackle from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., also put Penn State in his final 10. He’s 6-4, 315 pounds.

Update: 2:10 p.m.

**Penn State has a ton of recruiting momentum, and New Year’s Day has already been good to the Nittany Lions with 4-star athlete Mehki flowers committing to the class of 2022.

The Lions also are in the running for two other recruits who narrowed their lists down today.

One is 4-star athlete Dillon Tatum from West Bloomfield Mich. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder has Penn State in his top 10.

Also, 3-star offensive tackle Andre Roye has PSU in his top six. He’s a 6-8, 305-pounder from Baltimore.
