The shuffling of the 2026-27 Penn State men’s basketball roster keeps on rotating.
It’s reported today that Tibor Mirtic has decided to enter the transfer portal.
This makes the eighth Nittany Lion to explore their options for next season.
The 6′-9″ Slovenian forward averaged 3.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
He only played in 15 games this season due to a knee injury he suffered on January 6th against Michigan and then he injured his shoulder during the first practice back from rehabbing his knee.
The Nittany Lions will now more than likely be in the market for another interior depth player.
They just got a commitment from 6′-11″ center/forward, Tim Oboh, out of Buffalo yesterday, but with the probable departure of Mirtic, it makes the Penn State frontcourt without a lot of depth.
The transfer portal closes tomorrow, April 21.
