Former Penn State Football commits continue to hit the road following former head coach James Franklin’s firing on Oct. 12. The latest, four-star offensive tackle Jack Fuchs, announced his commitment to Northwestern in a post to X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Fuchs stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 300 pounds, a behemoth of a tackle in the class of 2026. He reopened his recruiting on Oct. 20, as has most of the Nittany Lions’ once-vaunted recruiting class. Penn State Football is set to face Northwestern during the 2026 season, so if Fuchs doesn’t take a redshirt year, they might need to face him on the gridiron as soon as next year.
Other commits in danger of heading for greener pastures include four-stars Matt Sieg and Kevin Brown, both receiving heavy recruiting pitches from WVU: click here for a full list of the ongoing recruiting onslaught. After beginning the season 3-0 with legitimate national championship hopes, the Nittany Lions have lost six games in a row and remain winless in the Big Ten, a factor likely exacerbating their recruiting struggles.
