Penn State has added a 6-foot-3, 305-pound boss to its 2026 recruiting class.
Tuesday afternoon, Penn State got a commitment from Bejmanin Eziuka, a three-star from Detroit Catholic Central.
Eziuka has his official visit to Penn State scheduled for June 20-22.
Penn State had been after Eziuka for almost a year, offering him late last July. He also had offers from schools such as Cincinnati, Kentucky, Stanford, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
He had an official visit to Cincinnati scheduled for the weekend of June 6-8 but that is now presumably off the table.
EZIUKA ON PENN STATE
Eziuka most recently visited PSU this past weekend for a prospect camp, and he talked with On3Sports about it after.
“I feel like every time I came back there, it just felt more and more like home,” Eziuka said. “I’ve been talking with Trautwein for a year now, and that communication has always been good. He’s been great at communicating with me and my mom every step of the way. [Chris Mahon] has always been great, and I’ve done multiple FaceTime calls with Coach [James] Franklin. They’ve always made it clear to me that I’m a priority to them.”
Eziuka attended Penn State’s White Out game against Washington last year, and as one could imagine, it left an impression.
“Every time I came to Penn State, I got to see something new that I liked,” Eziuka said. “Seeing that White Out last year, that was big for me. I want to play in those big-time games against Ohio State or Michigan. This year, they’re playing Oregon in the White Out. I want to be in those kinds of games that are always going to be remembered.”
WHERE THE CLASS STANDS
So where does Penn State’s Class of 2026 stand now? Well, 18 players are committed and three of them are offensive linemen.
