The 2025 NFL Draft is less than two months away on April 24 in Green Bay.

With the NFL Scouting Combine in full swing, it’s officially mock draft season, with pro days soon to follow.

One of the most famous draft analyses in NFL history is Mel Kiper, ESPN’s longtime draft guru who has been a part of telecasts for 40 years

In his latest NFL mock draft, ESPN’s Mel Kiper predicts two Penn State stars to be selected in the top 10.

Kiper mocks star defensive end Abdul Carter No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans.

Carter opted out of combine drills as he continues to fully recover from an arm injury suffered in the Fiesta Bowl. He received word of a stress reaction in his right foot on Wednesday but will not require surgery.

“You can’t stop GREATNESS! Y’all thought I was going that easy? This just gonna make the movie more interesting! See y’all March 28th… Bring ya popcorn… #1 OVERALL PICK,  56 days,” Carter tweeted Thursday.

“The Titans would love having Carter –who isn’t working out this week at the combine –on this defense. He creates so much pressure off the edge with the burst and instincts to get home for sacks. He had 12 of them in 2024, along with a nation-leading 23.5 tackles for loss,” Kiper said on ESPN.com. “For a Tennessee team that was 25th in pressure (29.0%) this past season, sliding him next to Jeffery Simmons and T’Vondre Sweat makes a lot of sense.”

Carter played three seasons wearing No. 11 in a Nittany Lion uniform on Saturdays, earning 172 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 23 sacks, 13 passes defended, and five forced fumbles in 42 games.

Kiper predicts tight end Tyler Warren to land in the Big Easy with the New Orleans Saints at No. 9.

“Warren is really fun to watch, and he could do a bit of everything in the New Orleans offense. At Penn State, he was lined up in-line, out wide, in the slot, and in the backfield. And no matter where he was, he made plays, racking up 1,233 receiving yards on 104 catches,” Kiper said on ESPN.com. “Warren has sure hands and the ability to pile up yards after the catch.”

New head coach Kellen Moore frequently utilized Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert as a main target in the offense, catching 42 passes for 496 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games.

The 6-foot-6 tight end set tight end program records for receptions (104), receiving yards (1,233), and a new program record 19-career receiving touchdowns. Warren finished his Penn State career with 153 catches for 1,839 yards, 224 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, and a passing touchdown in 56 games. Warren finished in 7th place in the 2024 Heisman voting.

The NFL Draft commences at Lambeau Field from Thursday, April 24, to Saturday, April 26.
