A former Penn State receiver who entered the transfer portal last week has committed to Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.
Sunday afternoon, Hayes Fawcett of On3Sports reported that Harrison Wallace III has found a new home.

This is a logical move for Wallace.
For one, Wallace is from SEC country, having grown up in Montgomery, Alabama. Ole Miss is also a consistent top 15 school, and Wallace wasnโt going to leave Penn State for a loser. He ended 2024 as the leading receiver for a PSU team that came within two wins of a national championship. So the guy certainly can play.
WALLACE WAS THE LEADER

Harrison Wallace III hauls in a 14 yard score in the fourth quarter.
Penn State didnโt have a great receivers group in 2024 (or 2023, for that matter), but Wallace was the leader of it. He ended this past season with 46 catches for 720 yards and four touchdowns.
He was second to superstar tight end Tyler Warren among Penn Stateโs pass catchers in receptions and yards and led Penn Stateโs wide receivers in both categories. Wallace had the best game of his career Week 1, catching five passes for 117 yards and two scoresโ all in the first halfโ in a 34-12 win at West Virginia. He also had a big game against Washington Nov. 9, catching five passes for 84 yards in a 35-6 win.
But Penn Stateโs receiversโ which didnโt catch a pass in the teamโs Orange Bowl/College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Notre Dame. For many, a change was needed.

So are Wallace and Omari Evans, the teamโs second-leading receiver from 2024, leaving a sign that Penn State isnโt yet done adding in the transfer portal? It could be. Despite adding two talented targets for QB Drew Allar, the fans want more, and maybe theyโll be getting it in the form of a big time player.
Penn State opens the 2025 season against Nevada at Beaver Stadium Aug. 30.
