The 2025 Penn State football schedule has been released.

Without further ado, here it is.

Sept. 6: FIU (home)
Sept. 13: Villanova (home)
Sept. 20: Bye

Sept. 27: Oregon (home)
Oct. 4: UCLA (away)
Oct. 11: Northwestern (home)
Oct. 18: Iowa (away)
Oct. 25: Bye
Nov. 1: Ohio State (away)
Nov. 8: Indiana (home)
Nov. 15: Michigan State (away)
Nov. 22: Nebraska (home)
Nov. 29: Rutgers (away)

Penn State should romp to three wins to start the season, with Nevada, FIU and Villanova not being anywhere close to PSU’s level. After a bye week, Penn State will play Oregon in the regular season for the first since 1964. The next weekend, Penn State goes to the Rose Bowl to play at UCLA for the first time since 1968. Penn State then has two more traditional Big Ten opponents in Northwestern (home) and Iowa (away) before the second bye. Then, the team takes on Ohio State in Columbus Nov. 1. The next week, the team takes on Indiana in a Big Ten game for the first time since Curt Cignetti took over as coach.

Fans who love the Land Grant Trophy will be happy that Penn State is playing at Michigan State Nov. 15. Senior Day will be against Nebraska the next week, followed by the season finale at Rutgers.
