The Penn State men’s basketball team will be competing in the the 2026 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament which takes place on November 24-27, 2026 inside the Imperial Arena at Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas.
The tournament this year has changed from the traditional eight-team bracket to two separate four-team groups.
The Nittany Lions will compete in Group 2 which also consists of Memphis, Mississippi State and Wake Forest.
Each team is guaranteed two games and Penn State will strictly play games against other members of Group 2.
The Group 1 four-team group is made up of Marquette, Texas A&M, Virginia and Xavier.
Matchups and tipoff times for the 2026 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament will be announced at a later date.
What do we also know about the 2026-2027 schedule up to this point?
The Nittany Lions will also be playing in an exhibition game in Buffalo, New York on Saturday, October 17th against St. Bonaventure in the Greenlight Network Preseason Showcase inside the KeyBank Center. This will be a home game for the New York based-Bonnies who will only need to travel 71 miles to Buffalo.
We also know the Nittany Lions’ home and away Big Ten opponents for this upcoming season.
They will play host to Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, Washington, Nebraska, Ohio State and Rutgers.
Penn State will be on the road against Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, UCLA, USC, Washington, Nebraska, Ohio State and Rutgers.
