University Park— Penn State needed to beat Washington to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive and needed to pummel Washington to get the fan base feeling at least somewhat good after last week’s loss to Ohio State.
It did both Saturday night in White Out conditions at Beaver Stadium with a 35-6 win.
The team scored touchdowns on all four of its possessions in the first half while the defense shut out Washington.
As usual, the people of X (formerly Twitter) had a lot to say, and here’s the best of it.
Great bounce back

Abdul Carter the last few weeks has been insanely unblockable. Penn State fans getting to see what they missed in the COVID season when Micah Parsons opted out.

What a response from Penn State tonight. Maybe the best rebound from a loss that I’ve seen in Franklin’s tenure

They should’ve put another TD up at the end. Need to win convincingly with 3 and 4 going down today.
