Latest Playoff Seeding for Penn State Football

Despite a below the line performance against Bowling Green, Penn State football is still projected to be one of the 12 teams in the college football playoffs.

At this point, as long as they keep on winning, it’s just a matter of what seed the Nittany Lions will receive.

As is the case every Monday during the season, longtime College Football Insider Brett McMurphy releases his projections for both bowl games and the seeding for the playoffs.

McMurphy once again has Penn State receiving an at-large bid, however, he has dropped them a spot from last week and not hosting a 1st round game.

Penn State vs. Oregon

Northern Illinois vs. Texas

Tennessee vs. Alabama

USC vs. Ole Miss

QUARTERFINAL MATCHUPS:
Utah vs. Texas

Miami vs. Alabama

Ohio State vs. Ole Miss

Georgia vs. Oregon

SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS:
Georgia vs. Texas

Ohio State vs. Alabama

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICITON:
Georgia vs. Alabama
