Highly rated offensive lineman Gregory Patrick announced some recruiting news on Monday as he narrowed down his long list of offers.
The 2026 4-star offensive tackle from Northern High School in Portage, Michigan revealed his Top 9 schools and one of them was Penn State.
Patrick, one of the Top 20 offensive tackles and Top 200 overall players in the Class of 2026, released a Top 9 of Penn State, Alabama, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Michigan. Patrick also held offers from Stanford, Baylor, Kentucky, Pitt and West Virginia.
When looking at his unofficial visits, Patrick has traveled to the two in-state programs, Michigan and Michigan State, the most. The 6’5″, 275-pounder has unofficially been to East Lansing eight times, Ann Arbour 6 times, South Bend four times and has also made visits to Nebraska and State College.
Patrick is a Michigan State legacy as his father played offensive line for the Spartans.
Penn State currently has four commitments in their Class of 2026: 4-star quarterback Troy Huhn (San Marcos, California), 4-star running back Messiah Mickens (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), 4-star offensive tackle Kevin Brown (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) and 3-star wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers (Middletown, Delaware).
