The other finalists are Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee.
Every major recruiting outlet has Harrison as the No. 1 Class of 2026 TE.
Penn State was the fourth school to offer Harrison, doing so in December 2022. He visited Beaver Stadium for the team’s 31-0 White Out demolition of Iowa last September. His most recent visit was to Miami the weekend of June 22. He also visited Tennessee in late March.
Per MaxPreps, Harrison ended last season with 263 yards and five touchdowns on 17 receptions.
Football’s also hardly his only sport.
Coming from the basketball-rich state of North Carolina, Harrison has basketball offers from schools such as Florida State, Penn State Texas A&M Wake Forest and, yes, UNC.
Penn State offered him in basketball last September while he was visiting.

As a true freshman, Harrison averaged 21.5 points and 15.1 rebounds, helping Reidsville to a 26-1 record and state title game appearance.
Harrison’s basketball prowess is such that he intends on playing football and basketball in college.
In an interview with On3Sports, Harrison said he feels Penn State could make him better both on the gridiron and hardwood.
“I like their style of play on the basketball court,” Harrison said. “I know that they can develop me in basketball and football. It’s just a great place, again, man. I have a lot of fun when I’m up there.”
Harrison also told On3 that Penn State has “been a top school for a long time.”
“They have tight end history and it shows,” he said. “They put guys at my position in the NFL. I have great connections with multiple coaches there too. They always treat me well and make me feel like a priority. I was at the White Out game last year and it was the best college football atmosphere I have been in.”
