It’s decision day for 2025 4-star wide receiver Jeff Exinor.
The 6’2″, 220-pounder from McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland and national Top 200 recruit will make his decision tonight at 7 PM.
Exinor told Nittany Sports Now that his three finalists were (in no order): Penn State, Virginia Tech and Maryland. Along with those programs, Exinor held Power Four offers from Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Pitt, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
James Franklin and Marques Hagans have done a tremendous job recruiting this talented player and they could be battling former Penn State assistant coach Brent Pry for his services.
Here is an evaluation of Exinor from National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins/247 Sports:
“Sort of a hybrid receiver/tight end and where his body goes likely determines his ultimate college position. A well-bult 6’2″, 220 pounds right now with the frame to add good weight in college if needed. Has good hands and ball awareness. Natural pass catcher and uses his body well to create separation and box out smaller defensive backs. Shows some separation speed but runs well after the catch. Relies more on strength and physicality to create YAC plays more than just burst and twitch. Does a nice job working the middle of the field and catches the ball well through contact. Can bully smaller defenders and is tough to bring down in the open field.”

Exinor took his official visit to Penn State at the beginning of the month (June 7).
Penn State’s Class of 2025 currently holds commitments from 19 players and has a Rivals.com Team Recruiting Ranking of No. 5.
3-star recruit Lyrick Samuel (Brooklyn, New York) is the lone wide receiver in the recruiting class.
Aside from Exinor, Penn State is also still involved with 4-star WR Koby Howard and 4-star WR Taz Williams, Jr.
