WATCH: Postgame Reaction from Penn State’s Senior Day win Over Michigan State

It wasn’t always pretty, but Penn State did what it had to do and beat Michigan State, 35-16, on Senior Day at Beaver Stadium.

The win clinched a 10-win season for Penn State, which hasn’t happened since 2019.

Penn State won 11 games under James Franklin three times between 2016 and 2019, but combined to win just 11 over 2020 and 21.

Tight end Theo Johnson, who caught two touchdowns and finished the day with 62 yards on three receptions, said reaching 10 wins was “huge.”

”I think the biggest thing was just letting our senior out (the right way,)” Johnson told reporters after the game. “We have a lot of guys that have done a lot of great things for us for the past couple years, and this senior class is pretty special. So it just feels really good to kind of send these guys out the right way.”
