22 Penn State football players will be recognized before the team’s Senior Day game with Michigan State Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium.
Some, such as Joey Porter Jr., have the option to come back to Penn State next season.
Other Penn State players, such as Sean Clifford, don’t have that option, and therefore will be playing their last game at Beaver Stadium.
I was on hand to capture Penn State’s team arrival Right around 2:00 p.m., the team entered the Beaver Stadium for the last time in 2022. For Clifford, it will be his 44th start at quarterback for Penn State. Of those 44, he’ll finish with 24 at home. It will also be the last home game for Barney Amor.
Amor played at Penn State for two seasons after being at Colgate from 2017-20, and became the team’s regular punter this fall. Amor quickly became a fan favorite and will be missed in Happy Valley.
For Porter it’s likely his last regular-season college football game. The cornerback and son of a former All-Pro, Porter has had an excellent career at Penn State and is projected by many to go in the first round of 2023’s draft.
With Nittany Nation encouraging them, here is Penn State’s last team arrival of the 2022 season.
